    All the products we currently sell are "over the counter" products in the country they are shipped from and no prescription is required.

    My question is - if Stronghold is identical to Revolution, why is Revolution so much more? Or Stronghold so much less - whichever way you wish to look at it. Thank you!

    The both products are produced for different markets. They have different outlining cost and licensing fees etc. Hence the difference in price.

    For dogs over 40kg or 88lbs it is recommended to use the appropriate combination of tubes. Dogs: Up to 2.5 kg 1 tube of Stronghold 15 mg (Rose coloured top) 2.6 – 5.0 kg 1 tube of Stronghold 30 mg (Violet coloured top) 5.1 – 10.0 kg1 tube of Stronghold 60 mg (Brown coloured top) 10.1 – 20.0 kg1 tube of Stronghold 120 mg (Red coloured top)# 20.1 – 40.0 kg1 tube of Stronghold 240 mg (Green coloured top)#

    Helps with seizures

    I tell everyone about it. I have a cat that goes into seizures and would chew his toes raw. Vet gave a steroid shot but it didn't help. I realized that biting an itchy spot would trigger the fit, tried this product and he has very few and his toes have healed up.

    Stronghold

    I buy this product to protect my animals from fleas and internal parasites, particularly heart worms. I find it less effective against fleas but I live in Louisiana where it is hot and humid for six months out of the year. I still buy the product because of the parasite protections Stronghold provides. I haven't found anything that really works on fleas in the deep south of the US. We spray the yard and that seems to be most effective for killing the fleas.

    Stronghold is the international brand for Revolution.

    Flea Surprise

    Well after nine years of this dogs life, he got fleas for the first time.
    After 20 years of using Revolution for my previous dogs and cats, I knew what I wanted.
    Being able to try Stronghold was an interesting option, and it did not disappoint. The fleas are gone and I trust the added benitifts are working out just fine. I’m glad Stronghold was an option for me.

    this product arrives fairly soon considering it comes from out of the country. It has been very effective for my 2 very different dogs. They are both healthy and no scratching or biting their skin at all. I really like the auto refill system they have at PetBucket so I don't have to worry with it. They also send a courtsey email when they are about to fill the order so you have the option to change if need be.
